Time out

It’s a blowy blustery day and the weather is definitely on the turn. Gone are the sharp short tingling days of winter and spring is about to emerge from its cocoon. There is washing to be hung out, a mural to prepare for my classroom wall, winter clothes to store away and messages to write to my daughters. I’ve just linked up with an old school friend from more decades ago than I care to count up and I have several other emails I need to write…

But hang on, I’m trying to teach my kids how to write well and I definitely need to take time out and get my fingers onto my keyboard. The power is off for the nth time today (I currently live in north-east India) and the current is never reliable. But as soon as it flicks back on, I’ll hit that publish button and have my very first blog up and running…!

YES!

  1. Hello! Welcome to the 2018 Slice of Life Story Challenge! I’m writing with a bit of tech support. The email address you provided on the Participant Information form doesn’t seem to be working, but if you resubmit the form we could provide better help via email. The link you posted on Day 2 was broken. To fix the problem for Day 3, be sure to copy and paste the permalink to your blog post. To this, you need to click on the published version of your post (not in editing/typing mode) and copy the url from your browsers window. For example, the permalink to this post is https://livinglife816287820.wordpress.com/2018/03/03/time-out/#respond
